Evenings and nights in Brno have a special charm. Explore the city after dark or have a great time in any of its many restaurants and music clubs.
Even people who don’t live in Brno have noticed that the city has some outstanding bars, cafés, and restaurants. The Gourmet Brno guide will help you decide where to spend an excellent evening or even an entire night.
There are several places where locals and tourists alike choose to hang out. One great choice is Jakubské náměstí (St James Square), which is full of life mainly from spring to autumn. From there you can continue on to some local music clubs or attend a classical music concert.
Enjoy a romantic view of Brno at night from Denisovy sady (the Denis Gardens), Špilberk Castle, or Kraví hora (Cow’s Hill).
At the end of your night out, you can take a night bus to get home: every night at regular intervals buses start from Hlavní nádraží (the Main Station) and head in various directions across Brno. This style of night transit is not only unique to Brno, but it’s also extremely useful for getting anywhere you need to. For a list of all the buses and schedules, just visit the Brno Public Transport Authority’s website.
