A nativity scene, special apple must (Turbomošt), and the first Christmas tree

Don’t believe anyone who tells you they only come to the Christmas markets to buy socks and gifts on the very last day. It’s hard to walk through the markets without holding your breath… in excitement! And once you do take a breath, you just have to stop and, before you realize it, you’ve got a cup of mulled wine in one hand, a bag of roasted chestnuts and a freshly made “trdelník” in the other, some cookie cutters in your pocket, and you walk on carefully, trying not to crush the new Christmas ornaments you’ve just bought. That wonderful smell… And oooh, the lights!
