A cascade of three pools in an artificial riverbed
Outdoor swimming pool located in a beautiful landscape
One of the biggest swimming areas in the Czech Republic is open every year from June to August. It boasts excellent conditions close to the city centre not only for those who wish to relax, but also for those who wish to spend their time more actively. Winner of the 2014 Swimming Area of the Year in the TOP AQUA facilities competition.
The Brno Riviera is formed by a 390-metre-long cascade of three pools in an artificial riverbed dug in a former branch off the Svratka River. The first part is a wide wading pool only 40 centimetres deep, with a capacity of around 650 children. The middle part is suitable for non-swimmers and holds up to 800 people. The third part is designed for around 700 swimmers, and can be divided into six 50-metre-long swimming lanes.
The youngest visitors will enjoy a playground, a trampoline, and swingball. The Riviera offers courts for beach volleyball, petanque, and skittles as well as ping-pong tables, and visitors may use deck chairs and beach umbrellas available on the grass. The centre is equipped with comfortable changing rooms with spacious lockers. Wi-Fi connection available.
