If you are looking for a definition of a modern musical chameleon, Tom Skinner is the perfect example. The London-based drummer, producer and composer can tame wild jazz improvisations one day and set the rhythm for some of contemporary rock’s biggest icons the next.
Skinner is a co-founder of the groundbreaking group Sons of Kemet, which fundamentally reshaped the sound of contemporary British jazz, and a key member of The Smile, performing alongside Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead. His playing is hypnotic, precise and richly layered.
This is exactly the kind of music that fully comes into its own in the acoustics of the water reservoirs. The sound rises into the vaulted space, returns, and gains remarkable depth. Come experience it for yourself. Concerts start at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
