Walking around the Žebětín satellite
It leads through part of the Podkomorské Forests to the east of the Masarykův okruh (Masaryk Circuit)
Info panels along the way present local flora and fauna
This nature walk around the Žebětín satellite district built in 2013 by a local leisure centre leads through part of the Podkomorské Forests to the east of the Masarykův okruh (Masaryk Circuit).
It starts in the middle of Za Hřbitovem Street behind the shelter by the playground, continues a bit along yellow markers, and winds from an intersection with a large clearing to the north-east towards Ríšova street. Info panels along the way present local flora and fauna. Did you know, for example, that there are around 80 ant species in Central Europe? Or how boundary stones disappeared? There’s also a quiz, riddles, and tips for exercises in the forest gym.
Public transport: Žebětín, hřbitov (lines 51, 52)
