Tourists young and old are guided by the cartoon ant Lesík
For the newest ET in Brno, Lesy města Brna chose the 20-ha Akátky forest park, unjustly neglected by tourists, which lies between Židenice and Vinohrady with a mixed deciduous and coniferous forest.
The trail starts near a restaurant with the somewhat wild name Sherwood. Don’t wait around for Robin Hood. Instead, set off for 1 kilometre and 10 stations with info about forestry and forest management. Tourists young and old are guided by the cartoon ant Lesík. Simple information with drawings and photos informs visitors about the long lives of trees from small seeds to their final processing.
