Lužánky City Swimming Pool (Městský plavecký stadion Lužánky)

The only fifty-metre swimming pool in Brno.

It has been over 30 years since this indoor swimming pool opened its gates for the very first time. This building, with a unique roof designed by Ferdinand Lederer, has a capacity for 1,200 guests. It has been under reconstruction for some time. First, the roof was repaired and new windows installed, which immediately improved its appearance. Later, the entrance, changing rooms, restrooms, and the children’s area were reconstructed.

The pool offers various services for swimmers, schools, and sports clubs. There is a Children’s Water World and a diving school. It is the only fifty-metre swimming pool in Brno, and it has eight swimming lanes. It is 5 metres deep at one end, and there is a diving tower and several springboards. Visitors can rest in the warm water of the spa pool or relax at the Aquabar.
