  • Three-story double house (left half)

Three-story double house (left half). The building’s two mirror-image halves were slightly staggered from one another, with entrances on opposite sides of the building. The building was accessed by an exterior staircase leading to a terrace built into the nook created by the two halves’ offset arrangement. On the ground floor (technically, an above-ground basement) were service facilities, a garage, a washroom, and storerooms. From the exterior terrace on the first floor, one entered into a hallway and then into the living room, which took up more than half of the entire level. The hallway also led into the separate kitchen. On the top floor were three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate WC.
