The hotel interior was designed in the ‘Brussels style’

This eleven-storey building is located in the centre of Brno and was built between 1959 and 1962 using designs by Arnošt Krejza and Miloš Kramoliš. The architects drew inspiration from a 1957 design by architect Vilém Kuba. This unique building, with its artistic architectural design, helped shape the look of Brno, and it is one of the most significant and high-quality buildings to be built in Brno in the second half of the 20th century.

The look of this post-functionalist hotel was substantially influenced by the prewar Bauhaus school and by works by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.
