Guided tour of Capuchin crypt
Do not miss the first English-language quided tour of the Capuchin Crypt in Brno!
The uniquely preserved baroque burial place of the Capuchin order will open its doors exceptionally in the evening. In the heart of the city, under the Church of Discovery of the Holy Cross, lie the mumified remains of the Capuchin brothers and their beneficiaries. Among these beneficiaries lies the famous baron Trenck, leader of the Pandur infanry unit appointed by Queen Maria Theresa. You will discover the story of the Capuchin brothers and explore their historical place of rest. You will get to know the influential figures buried in the crypt and see new archaelogical discoveries from last year.
The guided tour will be in English, and will last aproximately 45 minutes. This is the only English-language guided tour of the crypt in the 2025 summer season.
