The basic tours introduce you to all the main sights or places in the city centre during one walk, in many languages. In cooperation with guides who are members of the Association of Tourist Guides of the Czech Republic, we offer a 2 or 3-hour basic tour.
You can choose from the 2-hour tours First time in Brno and Brno’s legends and attractions or from the 3-hour tours The best of Brno and Brno from a Broader Perspective.
First time in Brno / 2 hours
During this tour, your guide will introduce you to the main sights in the city centre. You can admire Brno’s remarkable squares, see the monumental St. Peter and Paul Cathedral or hear the most famous Brno legends.

Old Town Hall – courtyard, Brno dragon, Cabbage Market portal – Baroque Parnas Fountain, Reduta Theatre, statue of W. A. Mozart, Holy Trinity Column, Dietrichstein Palace
Capuchin Square
St. Peter and Paul Cathedral (including interior)
Denis Gardens – obelisk, view of Špilberk, Old Brno and J. A. Comenius Church (Red Church)
Freedom Square – Klein Palace, House of the Lords of Lipá, Moravian Bank building, plague column, clock machine
St. James’ Church (including interior)

Brno legends and curiosities / 2 hours
We recommend this tour of the historic centre to anyone interested in myths, legends and fables. On the route, you will get acquainted with famous and lesser-known Brno legends. We will also help you discover trivia and curiosities that you may overlook while walking through the streets.

The BEST of Brno city centre / 3 hours
During this tour, you will get to know the city centre and the mighty Špilberk Castle towering on the hill above Brno as a monument to the ancient military glory or a reminder of the hard labour prison system. The castle also offers a great view of the whole city and the tallest building in Brno. It is the best way to get to know Brno, both historical and contemporary. Špilberk is the seat of the Brno City Museum. Visiting the exhibitions is not part of the tour.

Brno from a broader perspective / 3 hours
We recommend this combined tour for groups with their own coach. The walk in the pedestrian zone in the city centre is complemented by a tour around places worth showing tourists (e.g. Lužánky Park, Löw-Beer Villa, Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, Mendel Museum, Starobrno Brewery, Brno Exhibition Centre, etc.).
