The tree knows – Denisa Michálek Belzová´s painting exhibition

Denisa Michálek Belzová

Born in 1980, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts VUT in Brno, in the following ateliers: Painting 2 under the direction of Martin Mainer, Intermedia under the direction of Václav Stratil, Environment under the direction of Vladimír Merta.

Denisa devotes herself to her own work — especially painting. She is a member and the founder of the street art group In Dust Troll (Radek Michálek, Denisa Belzová, Lukáš Orlita). She is currently engaged in teaching projects for different generations. She founded and now teaches in the organization Start-Art. She worked externally at the Moravian Gallery, where she co-designed the workshops programme. Her paintings usually focus on landscapes inside and outside the city, on the beauty of seemingly ordinary moments or represent personal symbolic scenes full of children’s figures.
