Marta Morice comes from Pohled u Havlíčkova Brod, she works in painting, drawing, photography andvideo.She graduated from FaVU and Pdf in Brno.Since 2000, she has lived in the Breton port city of Lorient.Here she looks for, among other things, parallels between the depths of the ocean and the depths of the forests of the Highlands/Vysočina.

This topic became the subject of her recent collaboration on an art project with scientists from Ifrmer (French Institute for Marine Research).Marta is interested in psychoanalysis, especially the theory of Jacques Lacan and the phenomenon of fullness and emptiness in oriental painting, the phenomenon of recursion and modern history. It was published by the Argo publishing house in 2017 graphic novel based on the true event The Detective.
