A relaxed jazz evening in the garden of Villa Tugendhat in an unusual setup. Exceptional jazz players will gather for this occasion.
Gabriela Kolčavová quartet will consist of:
Gabriela Kolčavová – vocals
Radek Bagár – piano
Vincenc Kummer – double bass
Milan Kašuba – guitar
The band
The double bass will be played by the famous double bass player, arranger and composer Vincenc Kummer, who has countless amazing teammates on the list, including Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, Dee Dee Bridgewater, but also Karel Gott.
There is perhaps no need to introduce the guitarist, the Brno legend Milan Kašuba. He regularly collaborates with Czech Radio and has been devoutly spreading his passion for jazz among his students for years.
Experienced musician Radek Bagár will sit at the piano this evening. This jazzman, who also passed on his talent to an exceptionally gifted son, also creates his own compositions.
Gabriela Kolčavová, who studied jazz singing in the USA, will connect these excellent musicians with her voice. The concert will feature jazz standards in original arrangements.
