Exhibition of fashion accessories 1890-1990

The new exhibition is dedicated to the phenomenon of fashion accessories, namely the 2 most powerful: hats and handbags (but also others, such as fans, gloves, handkerchiefs or collars).

In addition to having a practical function, they express a degree of taste and elegance as well as a specific personal style. The exhibited fashion from the years 1890-1990 comes from 3 private, normally inaccessible, collections – Z. Mudráková, V. Dobiášová and J. Bačák.

You can also see unique exhibits from well-known personalities (Gollová, Mandlová, Ferbasová, Rosůlková, Chramostová, Janžurová etc.), as well as the most popular or best-selling models from different eras – from the end of the Habsburg Monarchy to the end of the 20th century.
