Silver screen legend Humphrey Bogart in the iconic living area of Villa Tugendhat’s main living room!
This year’s second film screening in Tugendhat’s glass room will be devoted to the film noir Key Largo, directed by John Huston in 1948. Humphrey Bogart stars in the title role of Frank McCloud, who decides to visit the widow and father of his late WW2 friend, who own hotels in Key Largo, Florida. But when he arrives at the hotel, he finds that they are completely controlled by gangsters headed by Johnny Rocco (Edward G. Robinson).
The film, which was awarded an Oscar for the Best Supporting Actor, will be screened in the original version with Czech subtitles.
