• Overture to Handel’s first masterpiece, an opera about the tragic fate of a power-hungry Roman Empress, the wife of Claudius and mother of Nero
• A Greek story about the unhappy love of the young man Leander and Hero, a priestess of Aphrodite, adapted into a cantata for soprano and orchestra
• A Mozart symphony written over four days during the composer’s stay in Linz
• Václav Luks, founder and artistic director of the celebrated Collegium 1704, expert on historically-informed performance of early music, focusing in particular on the baroque period
